Katie leads the Morgan Health data science and research team, where she spearheads the development of data assets and insights. She and her team provide data expertise for investment diligence and portfolio support, collaborate with the JPMorganChase Benefits team across the lifecycle of pilot programs, and evaluate the impact of new initiatives. They also engage on health care data policy and publish research to advance employer-sponsored insurance. Katie has worked with complex health care data in academia and at organizations including McKesson, Evolent Health, UK's National Health Service, and Haven. In those roles, she created novel data mining methodologies and applied techniques from optimization, machine learning, and causal modeling to improve health care operations and patient outcomes.
Katie earned her PhD and Master of Philosophy degrees from the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School, in operations and technology management, and her Bachelor of Science degree in operations research and information engineering from Cornell University.
